Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Addiction can be an abyss, and every day this terrible trauma claims the lives of many of our teenage daughters and sons. For one mother, following her daughter into the abyss would begin a journey through the darknessbut it would be a journey that eventually leads to the light of God. In My Beloved Daughter, author Jean Parthat shares the intimate and heartbreaking story of her daughters descent into heroin addiction, and she hopes this story of hope and trust in God can be as relevant and important today as it was for her and her daughter then. When Jean loses her daughter to addiction, her search for her daughter begins in New York Citywhere Jean would find the confidence in God and the peace she needed to see her daughter once again and provide this young girl with the guidance to find redemption and healing. God loves each one of us in an amazing way, and he desires the best for our lives. And even when our lives or the lives of our children are claimed by the trauma of addiction, God is still at work WITHIN us. He is awesome, and whatever our challenge, we can find a way out in hope, faith, and trust.
