Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

I want to be freeTo be who I want to,And to do what I want,With no one in my way.I must be freeTo go where I want,Without questions asked.I cannot get that here.Soon I must go,And find who I really am ...The sunset of childhood can be a wonderful, exciting time. For others, it can be a painful, heartbreaking chapter in life. Either way, the teenage years should not be a time when young people feel alone in their feelings. In a moving poetry collection originally penned decades ago when she was a teenager, Victoria Johnson lyrically explores the essence of adolescence angst and a myriad of relatable experiences that include the highs of young love to the lows of abandonment, depression, and wanting to belong and be loved. Through her poetic insights, Johnson candidly reflects on the emotions, hopes, and dreams that many young people share while doing their best to navigate through the teenage years.A Sunset through Tears is a poignant volume of poems that vividly explores the ups and downs of adolescence.
