She has resumed a relationship with a former boyfriend, who has been pressuring her to take their relationship to the "next level," while her coach seems more interested in her off-field life than is appropriate. To make matters worse, a young man she helped put in a secure facility has been released and wastes no time renewing his vengeful ways. In attempting to deal with these issues, Maryl is forced to make choices she never thought she would have to make and defend herself against threats to her integrity as well as to her life.
