Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Arcangelo "Sonny" Parisi grew up in New Haven, Connecticut, and as the eldest brother of eight siblings, he spent a lot of time protecting his family and seeking out adventure. From an early age he learned to rely on himself and his instincts for survival, which served him well when he was shipped out to the South Pacific with the US Navy during World War II. Poignantly written by his granddaughter, Arcangelo's personal account allows readers to immerse themselves into the pages of this book and experience firsthand the life of a young and courageous sailor during a tumultuous time in world history.
