Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

When I was a boy my greatest joyWas a trip to the stables and corralTo saddle up that little bay ponyThat felt so much like my palHe would nose around my pocketsTo see if I brought him a treatThen I would comb his mane and brush his tailAnd clean the dirt from his feetI would mount up and put him in a gallopHis pleasure he could not hideHe would bow his neck and prance like a steedTo show his equine prideI felt like he was happy to carry meWhile he ran in the wind and the sunHe would get a bucket of oats and a rub downAfter an hour of funThe smell of horses still gives me a thrillThat has not changed in forty yearsThey are truly God's most beautiful creaturesAnd they talk to me with their ears.
