Using genetic engineering the scientist worked on preventing the incidents of the past being repeated. The new society would be protected from the mistakes of the past. A damaged and broken building was discovered Torn and faded documents and many other records were collected and reassembled. From these remnants the leaders of the new society formulated a code of conduct. This formed the foundation of a new society. Upon the crumbling corner wall of the building was a broken blue and white sign it simply read ?Way.? The new society adopted the simplicity of the signs message and embraced the code of conduct calling it ?The Way.?
