Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

"Looking back, that's exactly the way it happened. In the beginning it was exciting, adventurous, and felt like I was charting unknown territory."Doug Malear: drug dealer, heroin addict, state prison inmate... pastor?Jesus rescued Doug and turned his life around. Jesus brought him from the unknown territory of a dark and hopeless lifestyle to the unknown territory of surrendering all to his Savior. This path led him to found Hope Lighthouse Ministries. Through this organization he supports men and women like himself who are coming out of prison or off the streets. While starting, and now sustaining, this movement Doug has done a considerable amount of traveling to different states for speaking engagements. In his travels he began to notice a trend. Roadside billboards, church front marquees-the predecessors to getting your message out in 140 characters or less-really grabbed his attention.Doug photographed these signs as they impacted him and wrote this book on how relevant these messages are to everyone. He expounded on their biblical foundations and developed the spiritual principals from scripture that are extremely relevant to our lives right now as modern Jesus followers. So what do these signs tell us about today's church, about ourselves and about Christ? Read Signs Along the Way today.Doug is available to speak at churches, schools and conferences. His story of God's saving grace and a mother's prayers through 20 plus years of drugs, prison and death will inspire you with fresh hope.
