Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

How does a suicidal gang enforcer, who spent almost more years in jails and institutions than out of them, become a published author and Christian evangelist? How does an arrogant atheist become one of the most passionate and effective pastors in Las Vegas? How do you overcome being nearly beaten to death and not only survive, but forgive a vicious murderer, leave the past behind and thrive? What you'll read in Las Vegas Tonight: From "Sin City" to Vegas Saints are profiles of courageous men and women who experienced the magnificence of God in their lives. God saved them, healed them, transformed them, restored them and guided them to a wholeness beyond their wildest dreams. Now they want to share their stories of victory to provide hope and inspiration to others. Some have come from such challenging backgrounds that you'd think serving the Lord in a mighty fashion would be impossible. Mere survival would be accomplishment enough. Yet, they've become leaders, ambassadors and, above all, servants; people who have an unshakable faith in Jesus Christ and think nothing of doing the improbable with remarkable success. You'll read how these devoted believers overcame personal hurdles, won over opponents and silenced naysayers because they allowed the love of Christ to work in them and through them. Now their testimonies of the power and magnificence of a life with Christ are a beacon of hope for others changing their communities and the world. Dale Davidson has compiled an amazing collection of true stories of hope and inspiration. If ever there was any question of God's love and miracles and how He changes lives, one read of this book will end all doubts!
