A neglected cat is found living in an abandoned lumber yard. He had been hit by two cars in one day yet survived. We adopted him and named him Good Boy. He saved my life. Discover how my life of abuse and neglect mirrored his. My neglect led to group homes and foster care; Good Boy's neglect led him to our home. --"Katherine's commitment to the care and welfare of Good Boy was extraordinary. Her love and care were directly responsible for his continued happy life. Over the course of conversations, I came to understand her passion for the well-being of others extended far beyond animals." - Tami Rosich, DVM, Sunrise Blvd. Animal Hospital (Citrus Heights, CA) --"From the beginning of her story, I was moved. Katherine's story shows how great faith plays a part in our survival in these challenging times. Faith can get us through anything! I believe that this was one of the biggest lessons in her work." - Felicia Johnson, Author of "Her" --"Katherine is a dedicated Christian and animal advocate, and tirelessly works to enhance the lives of those who have been impacted by the foster care system. This book aptly portrays her passions, and how they tie together to create a therapeutic environment for those overcoming severe obstacles in life." - Daniel Tiblets, Creator of Foster Leaders Katherine Jones is a resident of Citrus Heights, California.
