Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

As a young Chinese Canadian child, Mimi leaves for school one day without kissing her father good-bye. He never speaks to her again and subjects her to a world of silence. Abused physically and mentally by her alcoholic mother, Mimi struggles to find joy in the silence of her life. Her only hope is that the God she came to know before her father's rejection would one day free her from the bondage of her fears. Mimi Lowe writes of her traumatic childhood of rejection and abandonment with the vision that her story will encourage anyone who has ever cried out to God and felt no response. God seemed so distant and uncaring-but he was actually orchestrating her path to freedom. Perhaps her story will encourage those who have given up on their hopes to dream again. Mimi's journey reveals God's love, His faithfulness, His mercy, and His desire for us to walk in freedom. Her journey is one of hope for anyone wounded and hurting. May this book be a catalyst to spur you on to a greater intimacy with the Holy Spirit, who is the ultimate comforter and counselor.
