Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Lowell Routley writes, Coming to Awe, Expressing Identity discussing grief and other heavy topics, as well as faith and compassion in this absorbing read. With experience as a counselor, he provides self-help commentary from a Christian perspective to encourage healing. After the Fall of Adam and Eve into sin, the old nature he calls, the "Relational Identity" diverted humanity from God. When a person comes to Christ, the transforming power of God works as the Creator intended; through the saving work of Christ, core identity is restored and humanity holds and brings the seeker to salvation through Christ. In the transformation, mind and spirit become integrated, using the body to glorify God, as His children worship and serve Him. Lowell Routley, Ph.D. has trained therapists who work with victims of extreme trauma in The Core Integrity Model(c) that he developed since 1988. Dr. Routley has over 40 years of experience in which he has witnessed the resilience of the human mind and spirit to heal in spite of horrific violence, torture, and mind control. His counseling skills grew through post-graduate education but he attributes his greatest learning to have come from the victims themselves. Courageous people of all ages, seeking answers to be freed from mental and spiritual bondage, demonstrate that the Creator endowed the human mind with abilities to preserve their Creator-given identity.
