Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Kenny always knew he was different. Brown as richest cocoa, his coloring was not like those of all the other koala bears. But, it never really bothered him. His sweet nature caused the other koalas to cease their teasing and actually be drawn to him. His eyes were black as coals yet with a warmth that was welcoming. Kenny really didn't have any enemies in Crystal Creek. And that is why it was such a shock to the gentle folk who lived there when Kenny went missing. Thus begins the tale of Kenny the Koala Bear in the Land of Mean. Join this sweet, yet wise bear on an adventure unlike any other together with a cast of characters designed to delight, entertain and impart some deep truths in a whimsical romp. You will become well acquainted with Greedy Gertie, a woman obsessed with money and appearance; her husband, Pugnacious Pomposity, III, a snob of the highest order and their two children, Horatio the Horrible and Salena the Shrieker. In striking contrast, is Hannah Stillwaters, an adventurous follower of the King together with Rick the Red-Necked Ranger, her uncle, a watchman in the Pine Valley Forest. Interwoven in the mix is Puss Puss B' Guss Guss, a persnickety feline, and Bubba Doo Wah Wah, a playful, yet mission minded, golden retriever, both of whom are vital players in this fanciful tale. Join in the adventure with them and more colorful characters as the story unfolds and the battle begins between the Kingdom of Light and the Kingdom of Darkness. This is truly a unique story that mixes fancy with fact and is sure to keep you in suspense and delight unto the very end.
