Hope is part of the design of humanity. We were innatelycreated to desire and to be fulfilled. The uncomfortable reality is that hopeoften hurts, especially when the journey requires waiting in faith and enduringuntold disappointments or detours. Living in the tension of hope deferred requires greatcourage. Thewise person will not give up on hope but rather contend for true fulfillment,no matter how long or arduous the wait.
