Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Have you ever wondered how Miriam felt as she watched her baby brother being placed in a basket, and launched into the Nile River? Or what emotions and trials Mary the mother of Jesus went through? Or how the prodigal son broke his mother's heart when he left home? Or how it felt to know that the little lunch your mother packed for you was used by Jesus to feed thousands? Stepping Out of the Pages makes the characters from the Bible become more real and human as you explore their thoughts, feelings and responses to various situations. Some of the people you will have met before, perhaps, but others may be new - like Claudia Procula, or the Innkeeper's wife, or the servant girl at the Master's banquet! Open the book - let them step out - and touch your heart with their stories! Karen K. Satterlee served as a Salvation Army Officer (pastor) for 42 years, along with her husband Phil. She has spoken and presented dramatic Biblical monologues in many churches and various Women's Retreats and Conferences. She is also a frequent contributor to the "War Cry", a national publication of The Salvation Army. Karen continues her ministry in retirement. She and Phil live in South Carolina and have two grown children and five grandchildren.
