Go Get What's Yours! Everyone wants to succeed in life: achieving goals and leaving a legacy from which others will benefit. However, for some ethnic groups, it is more challenging to accomplish their goals due to the odds stacked against them. Women of color comprise this group. In the minds of many, they rank beneath others. Customarily, their background is one of adverse circumstances and poor economic conditions, which in many instances, gave birth to unhealthy self worth. Consequently, many work harder and smarter to leave a favorable and an indelible imprint on society. Even though women of color have to use more sweat equity than her counterparts to become successful and significant, there are powerful tools and principles that have been made available to them. Caretha Crawford's book is one of those tools. In her book, Determined to Succeed, she reveals a strategic plan for women of color or any ethnic group to live a successful life. Using numerous biblical illustrations, experiences from her own life, and inspiring stories from twenty-two women of color, who faced oppositions and overcame each challenge, Crawford provides practical and spiritual guidance for building your confidence so that you can get what's yours!
