Gain insight on education policies, federal and state legislation, and common misconceptions about public education, while simultaneously getting to know "Sara" as she grows up "genius." The Child He Gave Me is a thorough account of one mother's determination to advocate for the best interests of her young child, Sara. Learn about special-education needs gifted students have and why they are an at-risk population of learners. Follow Sara's challenging journey and learn the common roadblocks to success accelerated learners encounter. A true story of advocacy as one mother relies on God to raise an exceptional child, explaining, "this is the child He gave me."
