Elements of Defense for a New Age

Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Democracy puts everyone on equal standing. No particular person defends another person in a world of democracy. There is no warrior caste or system of knights. No one is stronger than the other. What does this say for defending oneself from violence? The weak are exposed in a world of democratic countries with no one in particular to protect them. The situation argues new things for the study of nonviolence. A whole new system of thought for martial arts is necessary today. The solution is an entirely new thing.
