I do not meet the normThough however, do I hope, in words I can performI like to think Ive got a slant, a change of common viewsI take inspiration from day to dayI take it from the newsSo bear with me as I attempt to entertain you with my verseI hope to question, create a thought, and free me from my curseToo much time in sitting round, an escape I think youll findPut pen to paper, and I say out loud, Voice of idle mindIan Wilcox
