Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Faith - strong trust in God. Fortitude - courageous perseverance in adversity. The Christian aspiring to become a Marine needs a healthy measure of both. And he needs it daily. Written from the heart of a Marine, Faith and Fortitude is a daily dose of strength, insight and encouragement for those undergoing the rigors of Marine Corps Recruit Training. Jarrod Johnson draws from his own experiences as a recruit, Marine Scout-Sniper, Navy Chaplain, personal trainer, coach, husband and father in this one-of-a-kind devotional. Having served at Marine Corps Recruit Depot as a recruit and a chaplain, Johnson's intimate knowledge of the training program and culture enables him to bring a unique perspective that is communicated in ways the recruit will understand and appreciate. His engaging stories, humor, straight talk, and solid teaching make Faith and Fortitude a must for the young warrior looking to stay spiritually strong and mentally tough amid the intense challenges of training.
