Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Digging up a dead body isn't as messy as it sounds. When you find yourself standing in front of your tombstone with an old, rusty shovel, what are you trying to resurrect? Are you digging up your old life, the life you left behind when you died to sin? I was a church-going, Bible-reading, prayer-declaring Christian when I found myself in front of my own grave. I was led there by three ghosts Dickens never imagined: the Ghost of my failures, the Ghost of my sins, and the Ghost of my addictions. I had rumors and laziness preserved in embalming fluid, was attending séances through Kelly Clarkson's music, and found myself constantly fighting off gravediggers to discover a life that epitomized the supernatural life I learned about in Sunday School. Resurrecting the Wrong Life is not your typical, feel-good about yourself, Christian book. It is an invitation to learn how to truly be alive, but it's also a guide book to killing zombies, burying your corpse so it doesn't haunt you, and stopping those things that are keeping one of your feet in the grave. Discover how to stop wrestling with the sins of your past, habits that hold you back from the greatness you are called to, or the shame that weighs you down.
