Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Discover more about one of the most transcendent women of the bible. To her family, her name was Hadassah pronounced had-as-saw' meaning (the) Myrtle (tree). She was known as Stara, meaning Star in the Persian community, and Hester, the Latinized form of the one we know from the Greek translation of her Persian name: Esther. This book is another masterful study by the author W. Eugene Elliott. Here is another in an ongoing series of biblical studies of the holy books. You also, may look into the complicated life of a woman who was placed, un-expectantly, into unplanned and dangerous life changing events, which compelled her to put her own life in jeopardy for her family and beliefs. The author brings to light the intrigue and behind the scenes politics of the royal court of Xerxes, the great Persian king, who invaded Greece in 482 BC. The study explores the in-fighting of the king's guards, and the power-greedy and revengeful plots of the empire's second highest official. The study of the seventeenth book teaches about the age old story of good versus evil and that anything is possible through the trust in the one mighty God. There are 316 points of clarifications and explanations to help the reader more fully understand this intriguing book of the bible.
