Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Having been a childhood sexual abuse victim by a Roman Catholic Priest, Michael J. Kent is now interviewed by a journalist about his experiences of growing up Roman Catholic within the Archdiocese of Boston and his personal walk within seminary life. After a near military-like yet joyful upbringing, Michael ironically declares interest in priestly discernment, passes a demanding vetting process, and enters one of the oldest Catholic Seminaries in North America. Filled with hope and committed to a life of service to God, Michael is devastated to learn his own sexual abuse by a priest was a byproduct of continuing organizational dysfunction, political manipulation, and amoral leadership within the church presbyter. The book makes evident why celibacy is and will continue to destroy the Catholic Church. Michael's compelling life journey opens the doors to the inner workings of Roman Catholicism as never before.
