Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The story of Jonah is one of the most amazing stories of the Bible! God told Jonah to go and evangelize the city of Nineveh, but instead, Jonah decided to board a ship to Tarshish. The captain of the ship received Jonah, failing to realize the trouble he and others would encounter by welcoming Jonah on board. These men tried in vain to reach safety but soon found out it was impossible. In order for the storm to cease, they had to throw Jonah overboard. This book offers an analytical approach to Jonah's experiences but not by simply retelling the story. It helps believers draw parallels from Jonah's experiences to events that take place in their own lives. It challenges believers to let go of the hindrances that burden their relationship with God, just as the men on the ship were challenged to throw Jonah overboard. Through the Word of God, readers are encouraged to rid themselves of things that displease God and throw their Jonahs overboard.
