Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Rick Russ has a heart of gold and reading I Will Stand At My Watch tells you why. He tells the story of inmates such as Robert Frasier who went from incarceration as a seven-time loser to being an ordained minister, but later came to a sad ending; of the humbling experience of washing the feet of prisoners while they read from the book of Psalms; and the ultimate experience of baptizing former non-believer inmates into the brotherhood of Christ. Whatever thoughts you may have had concerning the worth of those caught-up in our criminal justice system, after reading this book you may very well look at it from a different perspective. "If any one of you is without sin..." (John 8:7) The stories continue as he writes of his ministry to those chained in bondage to age and infirmity in nursing homes; those elderly "angels" often taught him more than he was expecting. "Lord, when did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?" (Matthew 25:39) D. Crawford Gallimore Senior Advisor Finance and Risk Management The Hamilton-Ryker Company
