Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Learn how a mother survives the loss of her youngest son who decided to end it all at the peak of a seemingly promising career in the music industry. His decision left family, friends, and fans heartbroken, abandoned, and confused. Maurice “Reese” Moncrease, whose stage name was Frijiea, was the life of the party. It appeared he embraced life by caring for others through deeds of kindness and giving stellar performances, playing pool, riding his motorcycle across the country with the “Rough Riders” and mentoring the neighborhood children in free basketball and music lessons. Gabrielle shares how undiagnosed depression led her son to suicide and confesses her own struggles with this same darkness. In this book, she also opens her heart to share the dark secrets of her past of family members who had other and similar mental disorders, and how, through counsel, and the power of forgiveness, she processed her pain. Gabrielle also shares how she got through this tragic loss, how profound supernatural occurrences led her on a pathway of hope that restored her joy and gave her stability, and learned that there is more to life than meets the eye.
