Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

REBECCA TEMPLEMAN WAS RAISED in small town, historic Marshall, Michigan and educated at Colorado State University with a B.A. Degree in English. A licensed real estate broker in three states, and grandmother to six, she bloomed late in the up-market fictional genre. She penned a children's mystery in 1994, long before the 2016 release of her debut novel SEVEN DAYS IN CARRINGTON, Volume 1, and the 2017 sequel. With the dream of seeing it as a screenplay some day, the seven-part CARRINGTON series has evolved into a passionately urgent avocation.Reminiscent of a memoir, Volume 3, THE SUMMER STORIES chronicle the innocence of youth and the cultural mores of the 20th Century. The familiar settings are inspired by the author's childhood, impressionable first cousins, and the Grandmother's summer lakeside cottage. Fascinated by history, local color, and old houses, her lyrical style strikes a chord between sentimental realism and an 0. Henry-like endearment; the heartfelt collection of nine stories creates a harmonious melody.
