--Book is a very large format (13.5" x 16.5") to accommodate the Polaroid grids, each of which includes 12 Polaroid images. --Michael Morris organized Lukacs' Polaroids into thematic grids, which formed the basis of a traveling art exhibition in Canada (exhibition dates in the US are being negotiated). --Book is a co-publication between Arsenal Pulp Press and three respected Canadian art galleries: the Art Gallery of Alberta, Presentation House Gallery of North Vancouver, BC, and the Illingworth Kerr Gallery of Calgary, Alberta. --This is the first book dedicated to the art of Lukacs, whose controversial and notorious reputation has been documented internationally; his intense, homoerotic paintings have featured Nazi skinheads, military cadets, and others, but depicted in beautiful, Caravaggio-like tones.
