She knew there was a better life out there. Sara stepped off the bus in the small river town with $5.00 in her purse and the address of her sister. As she began to walk down the street she sees a sign that says White Hat Diner. She went in for food and got a job but never realized what extraordinary set of events would begin to unfold. She meets a soldier and falls in love. Her heart gets broken. She has a secret that she carries in her heart for many years. She marries a wonderful man. She and her baby, Molly, have a wonderful life together with Mr. Preston all the time keeping her secret.
