Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

"BAD APPLE bursts out of the gate with a what-did-I-just-read opening scene and doesn't let go until the last riveting page. Barry Ozeroff knows his stuff, and it shows."-Alafair Burke, New York Times bestselling author of THE EXCop-turned-con DJ Appleby is considered a rock star among badasses. After his escape from the Snake River Correctional Institution in Eastern Oregon, DJ has made it to #7 on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted list. So far, he's managed to stay ahead of the international manhunt, which encompasses both Canada and the US. But it's not the authorities he's afraid of; it's the European Kindred, the violent white supremacist prison gang he crossed before he escaped. The authorities want him in custody, but the Kindred wants him dead, and they don't play by the rules. With the help of his ex-con uncle, DJ manages to stay one step ahead of them, but when they hold his daughter as bait, the game changes. Now, it's the Kindred who should be scared, because in DJ's family, the apples don't fall far from the tree.
