Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Ibsen, considered to be the father of modern drama, was a Norwegian playwright. He is responsible for "realistic drama". During the Victorian era Ibsen's writings were considered scandalous. Hedda and Jurgen are aristocratic newlyweds who have just returned from a 6 month honeymoon. Hedda is pregnant and Jurgen's aunt has just arrived for a visit. Aunt Julie has raised Jurgen and Hedda's rudeness toward her is apparent. New arrivals to the house bring about many plot twists in this classic drama from Norway.
