Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Discover the truth about sin every Christian must know. If you think you understand sin, think again. RANSOM: The High Cost of Sin from Dean H. Harvey reframes this most important Christian concept for an eye-opening book that will change your relationship with God. Built on solid Scripture, Ransom shows how our self-centered focus on big sins-how they affect us in the here and now-is fundamentally misplaced. Rather, Harvey explains how the primary consequence of sin is to God-in the form of a broken heart. The secondary cost of sin is to the sinner-in his current life and the one to come. Third in line are those around us, who are all affected by our sins in some way. And finally, the highest cost of sin is that it emptied Heaven of its best to provide a ransom on the cross-in order to bring "so great salvation to all sinners who would repent and turn from sin. Straightforward and easy to understand, Ransom is a must read for anyone looking to more fully understand the bible and its remarkable insight for living a Christian life. "The author admonishes the reader to live each day to bring joy, and not grief, to the heart of God, who loves us and gave Himself for a sin-offering as a fulfillment of the Old Testament sacrifices." -George (Jed) Smock, Campus Ministries USA "It is my humble opinion that there is a high cost that comes with failing to understand the powerful truth contained in the pages of this book." -Michail E. Wolfe, President of Common Clay Ministries, Inc.: And Director of Ambassador Training International _____________________________________________________________________________ Dean Harvey was in full-time ministry for 37 years before retiring.
