Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

This collection is sure to please, amuse, arouse, delight, and stun. The action in the seventeen stories that form The Dream in the Heart of the Forest plays out in the exotic realms of a deep forest, tropical island, sunny beach, fragrant marsh, purple-sage desert, and volcanic wilderness, and they span time from the American Revolutionary War to the present day to fantasy times out of mind. Dripping and burning with devoted comradeship, romantic lust, and lurid sex, the guys in these stories find adventure, love and wild sexual thrills. A young man escaping city life finds lust in the sagebrush and hot nights in the bunkhouse. A misunderstood youth discovers his rightful place with an outlaw motorcycle gang. A British officer learns to give and to receive with a native American two spirit. Two friends flee from a group of violent homophobes to stumble on a pair of protective men. A young surfer learns how to use his board and other parts in the back of another surfer's woody. And several young men escape abusive relationships when they are rescued by strange, charming hermits on tropical islands or even in the heart of the forest. Ranging from nail hard to dreamy, from starkly realistic to moodily fantastic, this collection is sure to please, amuse, arouse, delight, and stun.
