Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Has your child been hurt or injured by life? Do you know a child who is a victim of sexual or physical abuse, domestic violence, familial drug abuse or one that is in a struggle with a serious illness, bullying or possibly removal from their home? "God Created Little Girls" is an uplifting and inspiring children's picture book which has been specifically targeted toward children who are feeling hurt, afraid, abandoned, sick or unloved. In a society marked by too many painful realities - at home and at school, this tender, uplifting picture book helps children to know that, whatever they face, they are never alone and are deeply loved by God. The author, a Christian mother and grandmother, through her own childhood experiences, addresses these difficult subjects with a perfect blend of diplomacy, age-appropriate (non-controversial) content and tenderness. Vickie Leese is an inspirational Christian speaker and teacher and has dedicated her life to helping women of all ages know and experience the Love of God. She is deeply involved in her church and community and particularly to those ministries and safe houses helping children affected by displacement or abusive home situations. She and her husband live in St. Augustine, Florida and she has four adult children and five grandchildren who she calls her "hearts". Deborah L. Spiller has been a professional artist for over 30 years. Her work sells internationally and is exhibited in St. Augustine, Florida. Painting is her joy, an inspiration from the Lord. She has painted murals for orphanages in Venezuela and Grand Bahama Island. She and her husband Peter live in 'The Ancient City' of St. Augustine, and enjoy the art galleries, history and their sweet spirited Church. They have 4 wonderful children and 10 grandchildren. www.deborahlspillerart.com
