Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Followers of Jesus are on a journey of spiritual growth. Their goal is to become more and more like Christ, not only reflecting his character, but doing his work in the world. The process of transformation, from unbelief to faith and from faith to Christlikeness, takes place (ideally) in the context of a healthy church. That church, as a channel of God's grace, enables faithful disciples to take one step at a time toward spiritual maturity, effective ministry within the church, and useful service to the wider community. Every level on The Ladder of Faithfulness requires a different set of instructional methods. In this book, D. Michael Henderson offers practical advice for making disciples at every stage of spiritual growth. From his experience in American and African churches and colleges, he provides useful tools for equipping Christians in their primary mission: making disciples. D. Michael Henderson helps American and African Christians fulfill the command of Jesus: "Go into all the world and make disciples." He provides materials and training for small group ministries and personal discipleship. He directs a mission called Heart of Africa (www.heartofafrica.org), which supports African ministries with "breakthrough projects." His other books include John Wesley's Class Meeting and Making Disciples, One Conversation at a Time (www.rafikibooks.com). Mike and his wife Martha live in Longwood, Florida, and Friendship, Maine.
