[from the Foreword] -Lee Gugliotto, President, Empower Ministries and Bible Study Institute of Montana, author, Handbook for Bible Study (Gold Medallion Bible study book for 1996). My church board appointed Ray Puen, one of our elders and a diligent teacher of God's Word, as director of our bible school to nurture our church members. Whenever he leads out in our meetings, Ray demonstrates a welcome gift for bringing out fresh insights from Scripture. I'm delighted to see his teaching produced in printed format. You may be amazed to find in this book bible facts that are sometimes stranger than fiction. -Lem Niere, church pastor, past hospital chaplain, publishing house editor and regional church office executive. I have experienced the scriptural emphasis Pastor Ray makes in training all our mission trip participants and I now follow his curriculum in my weekly Prayer 101 church class. I endorse his approach to training future leaders by nurturing their devotional life. -Garry Mupas, pastor, youth leader, missionary.
