Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

In this book, Father Joseph Ogbonnaya plays the role of sentinel. Drawing on the deep tradition of our faith in its biblical and magisterial teaching, he articulates for readers the manner in which the Lord hopes to lead us, as pilgrims on the way to Heaven, to see His face in our lives today. It is my fervent hope and prayer that all who read this work will indeed "deepen in the Christian faith" and come to that end sought by all in the Church which is to see the face of our beloved Jesus in the midst of our trials and suffering. Rev. Michael McGourty, SLD Pastor, St. John the Evangelist Parish Toronto, Canada Fr. Joseph has woven together the voices of various theologians along with those of the biblical writers to clarify and instruct on essential matters of the faith for the life of the Church. In doing so, he brings us to the spirit-blazing depths of God's compassion which gives us a glimpse into our reason for being and uncovers for us the inner strength experienced by our falling in love with God. Fr. Joseph's book affords us who work in pastoral ministry, an excellent tool for discussion start-ups and further study of the Christian faith for adult faith formation groups, RCIA, catechist formation and social justice groups. I highly recommend this book. Mary Benincasa Lay Pastoral Associate and Spiritual Director, Toronto About the Author Joseph Ogbonnaya, is a chaplain at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Center, Toronto.
