Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The New Testament Book of Acts is an exciting book to study. This is especially true when one realizes that we are living in the "age" which began in the first few chapters of Acts. Continuing the "Understanding" series, William M. Templeton in his book, Understanding Acts, Volume Two, covers in detail the events of Paul's three missionary journeys and his final voyage to Rome. Theological truths are presented clearly, true to Scripture, with unique applications for the modern-day church and its mission to reach the world with the message of the Good News of Jesus Christ. It brings to life the actions of those original missionaries and the intervention of God in the spreading of the Gospel. Templeton gets us to face the hard facts of the times in which we are living with the courage and strength we find in our Almighty Lord. Readers will see the author has made good points and will understand the urgency of living out those points. WILLIAM TEMPLETON has been pastoring churches for thirty-nine years. He is married to the former Bonita Arlene Irby. The Templetons have four grown children and ten grandchildren. William Templeton attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University from 1969 through 1972. He then transferred to what is now Liberty University where he majored in pastoral studies and theology. For more than forty years, Bill has been studying Scripture in an effort to bring the Word of God to every person in a clear and understandable fashion.
