Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Every hour is holy, every day is sacred. We sometimes think prayer belongs only in certain places on certain days. This book calls us to set prayer free from these constraints, allowing it to flow out through the hours of every workday, sanctifying the ordinary rhythm of our modern lives:waking upgoing to workbreaking for lunchending the workdaythe evening hoursgoing to bedRay Simpson gives us twenty original prayers, written in the Celtic tradition or patterned after ancient Celtic prayers, for each of these intervals. Like generations of earlier followers of Christ, we too can use prayer to bless the rhythm of our daily lives, infusing the hours with the awareness of the One who gives us Life. These small pauses throughout the day will make us ever more aware that the Kingdom of Heaven is a constant and present reality, hidden just beneath the veil of everyday life.
