Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

A Time of Difficulty explores the conditions which the different types of believers in the Church will face in the time immediately preceding the Rapture of Christ's Bride. It also reveals why we as Christians will need each other during our last days on Earth. In an easy-to-read style, the book explains how the first seven-and-a-half chapters of Revelation are entirely relevant to the future history of the Church. Using more than 450 verses quoted from 28 books of the Old and New Testaments (and referencing over 50 more), the author challenges some traditional opinions on the end-times, and provides fresh and inspirational insights into these topics: - the events that make up the "Time of Difficulty" - the location of the Rapture within the pages of Revelation - Christ's instructions on how to live victoriously during the Time of Difficulty Understanding the end-times as they relate to the Church is not difficult; Christ made it clear that He wants His Church to be knowledgeable of, to be looking for, and to be preparing for the days ahead. By allowing Scripture to interpret Scripture, the author charts a clear and systematic course through the confusing waters of last days prophecy, and calls for believers everywhere to be ready for the Time of Difficulty. If you have a made-up mind on how the final days of the Church will unfold, be challenged to see those days in a fresh light! Ken Throckmorton serves as an Associate Pastor at Paper Mill Road Baptist Church in Marietta, GA. He has also worked for over 20 years in the pharmaceutical production industry. Ken attended Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, working toward an M.Div. with Biblical Counseling Emphasis degree. He and his wife Tammy reside in the Atlanta metro area.
