Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

A sequel to his first novel, My Story Part I, God Allowed Me To Help Him takes readers back into the travels of small-town doctor Ken Sproul as he battles the demons of mental illness with the help of his Christian faith. An honors graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and former engineering professor, Dr. Sproul offers a well-written and detailed account of his transition from successful family practitioner to volunteer medical missionary via a lifelong battle with bipolar disorder and addictions. Sproul's life takes a number of amazing turns - including stints as a high school math and science teacher and cruise ship physician - as he turns his life over to God. God then blessed him by allowing him to do long-term medical volunteer work in Africa, in Haiti, in Guatemala and then in Ecuador. A must-read for anyone wrestling with their own demons, as well as those who love him.
