Deborah and Lee are about to embark on a short-term mission trip. Their church has been partnering with a church congregation in a little city in Haiti named Jacmel. They have long anticipated the day that their sister church in Haiti would be ready. Pastor Donnie, who normally makes the trip to check on the church's progress, is sick and cannot go to check on the church's progress. Pastor Donnie asks Minister Lee and his wife, Deborah, to go in his place to check on the finished project and to make plans to celebrate the new church's opening.
