Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Desire and intrigue. Conquest on an impossible scale.Vol. 1 of the French Medieval Romance series opened in the time of King Arthur and the Round Table. In this second volume, the action moves to the the Carolingian dynasty, in the early years of the 9th century AD.Neverending wars rage throughout Africa, Europe, and Asia. Human dignity bristles against the might of a Holy Empire; righteous pagans clash against the flowering of Christian chivalry. The viking son of Morgan the Fée (a lady still ageless and beautiful even so long after the fall of Arthur) has risen to become champion of all Paganry. Strange druidic forces are calling the Duke of the Bretons to rebel against the Bald King and his wicked servants. From dizzying heights of the spirit to the lowest quagmires of lust and apostasy, from the Twelve Paladins to half-forgotten horrors, journey across the sagas of a vanished, glorious dark age, to discover the unexamined mythology and folklore of Medieval France.
