Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Do you ever wonder about who God really is? Or do you feel that you already have an accurate, or at least adequate, understanding of God, perhaps formed from a lifetime of experiences and personal notions about who He has been to you? In author Jabez Abraham's year-long devotional, Still Waters for Shallow Shores: A Through the Year Journey for Rediscovering the God of the Bible, readers are invited to take a daily journey to rediscover the God of the Bible, as He reveals Himself in the Scriptures, not what we have fit and molded Him to be in our imaginations. The great challenge of our times as Christians is to get back to a proper understanding of who the one, true God of the Bible is. We have come to a place where we are used to hearing about God from what we have been taught, not what God Himself has revealed to us when the Scriptures come alive in our quiet, individual Bible studies. It is time to reassess and rediscover. Filled with deep daily insights, Scripture support, resources for cultivating a more enlightened viewpoint of God, and divided into daily readings based on a variety of crucial topics, such as sin, prayer, worship, discipleship, Scripture, evangelism, and much more, this devotional is sure to engage readers and inspire them to seek to know God based on who His Word tells us He is.
