Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Dr. Haydel's book is a compilation of his research and experiences with his mentees whom he has serviced over a period of fifty years. He has explored the sense of masculinity from youth to adulthood and what his mentees have believed added to their reflections of reaching maturity. He offers first person descriptions of various aspects of life that his mentees believe have formed their personalities. This represents almost a peek into the minds of these men as they personally explore what maleness represents in their activities and careers. Dr. Haydel announces in his final, advisory remarks to his mentees who are a part of this changing world: They should remember to welcome genuine challenges for social behavior and opportunities based on a sense of morality and awareness of the Supreme Being. Endorsement:Dr. Belmont Haydel's Passport to Masculinity: From Boyhood to Male Adulthood is a delightful display of how mentoring can have a strong impact on the growing minds of boys and men alike. The reader will be moved, enthralled, and personally driven by Dr. Haydel's account of his experiences mentoring men beginning with his time as 2nd Lieutenant in a US Army Infantry company in Colorado, through his mentoring young men who are currently Latin American leaders. His life has been dedicated to making the world a more inclusive, sustainable place, just as the mission of his alma mater, Thunderbird School of Global Management aims to do. As the CEO of Thunderbird, I am delighted to have the opportunity to share my recommendation for this book by a highly esteemed alumnus and incredible ambassador, Dr. Belmont Haydel. His work is vital today as we see our world so radically changing and rapidly growing -the importance of mentorship for young men and women cannot be underestimated nor understated.Dr. Sanjeev Khagram, PhDDirector General and Dean Thunderbird School of Global Management of Arizona State University
