Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

I See Your Skin, But That Is Not All I See! Is a remarkable story about a little girl named Serenity who shows us the real meaning of friendship and courage. This book is perfect for caregivers and teachers having conversations about racism and other topics about what is happening in our world today with the young people in their lives. Despite being different colors the two girls in our story learn that true friendship is bigger than the color of our skin. I See Your Skin, But That Is Not All I See will open the door for honest conversations that will prompt new ideas about the way we see our world and each other. The book comes with discussion questions, suggested learning activities and a poem, which makes this the perfect gift for anyone in your life. "My skin color makes me beautiful and part of what makes me brilliantly me, so to say you do not see the color of my skin you're saying you do not see me. The true brilliance is when you see my skin, and still choose to get to know me for me"- Tiffany Sullivan
