Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

In the dead of winter, when the temperature drops below freezing and the days drag on in one endless gray blur, there are two words that every student longs to hear: SNOW DAY! In this collection of snowy scenes, we'll see what students (and a few teachers and administrators) get up to when school is canceled. From a scared sledder in "Out Cold" to a beleaguered babysitter in "Blanket of Snow" and a snowy mix-up in "The Snowball Effect," these scenes are sure to bring frosty fun to your stage with a whole lot of humor and a dash of heart. With a minimal set and flexible cast size, this one-act play is a fun and easy way to remind audiences of the magic that can only be found on a snow day.
