Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

David Damian Figueroa grew up listening to his mother's dichos, Mexican folk sayings, as well as her favorite American quotes. They were her way of teaching him what mattered, and they extolled the value of hard work and common sense. Over the years, he developed his own habit of writing down quick thoughts and favorite sayings. In this volume of quotes, thoughts on life, and personal wisdom, he pays tribute to his mother's memory and passes on his own dose of guidance. Sayings include: ¿ A dream is achieved with vision, faith, and one decisive action at a time. ¿ Honoring a person's point of view, respecting his or her beliefs, acknowledging hard work, and recognizing our own mistakes are acts of love. ¿ Our inaction can also be an action. Staying silent when we should have said something, doing nothing when our participation might have made a difference, and not helping when we could have helped are all action items. -Bel Hernandez, President/CEO, Latin Heat Media, LLC
