The story surrounds a professional, with no survival skills, forced to survive following his kidnapping. The professional struggles to survive while engaged in a self-induced mind game in an effort to identify the perpetrator. A man, without warning and with minimal survival skills, is abducted from his place of work on a routine day. He is thrust into survival mode with a handful of others in an apparent game of luck to escape. Each member comes from a variety of backgrounds and connections. Their drop zone is a desolate location where they lack the necessary tools and information to survive. Their journey is filled with obstacles and the desire to establish why they are selected. Along their journey, they learn to survive while they work through the process of discovering whom they are and how to survive. They are faced with the elements, lack of food, and fending off wild creatures.
