Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

A riot of flowers in polymer clay but this time made like never before usingstencils to ‘print’ the plant parts. This little handbook is largely intended as an aide to using Angie ScarrMiniatures stencils effectively but it is also full of hints and tips about gettingmaterials and colours right and how to display your work.Stencilling with a mix of solid polymer clay and liquid clays (Goo) is a new adventurefor both Angie and her students. Until now the world of miniature flowermaking traditionally centred around three basic materials; paper, cold porcelainand solid polymer clay, each of which have their drawbacks as well as theirbenefits, and each of which required a lot of patience to produce the flowers inlarge enough numbers to fill a dollhouse shop. These ideas look at new and different ways of using polymer clay to producebeautiful, delicate flowers and plants which are resistant to moisture andcan be semi translucent, in delicate subtle or glorious strong colours withoutindividual painting of leaves and petals. You don’t have to have endless patienceto use these simple techniques. Just a love of flowers and a love of miniatures"I invent easy ways of doing things because I’m essentially lazy and lacking inpatience." Angie.
