Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The life of a failed artist unravels when she discovers her mentor was not the person she thought he was, but someone far more sinister. A journalist attempts to uncover the dark secrets of a derelict lakeside resort. A man travels to Spain to search for his missing wife and the mysterious 'plaza de espera'. A comedy duo achieve success by creating a new character, Mr Herribone. But did they actually create him? And will fame come at a cost? "Jeffreys has put together a great collection of stories for BLACK MASQUERADES, ranging from the weird to the downright macabre. BLACK MASQUERADES is a highly enjoyable ride." - BILL DAVIDSON"Tim Jeffreys really does have the gift of making the reader want to finish the story and find out its secrets early on. In my deep desire to be entertained, as soon as I start his stories all my impatience goes out the window. The question I am left with is: Who is this Tim Jeffreys person anyhow?" ROBERT POPE
